Theories and Developments of Research Support Service in Academic Libraries: With Peking University Library's Practices

摘要: 论述了高校图书馆近年来重大战略发展方向之一——研究支持服务的定义、核心、总体框架、内容体系及支撑服务平台建设,并结合国内外高校图书馆的发展、特别是北京大学图书馆近期机构和岗位调整的案例,为高校图书馆的转型实践、深度创新和知识服务中心建设提供理论与实践两方面的参考。

Abstract: This paper discusses the research support service as one of the most important strategies in academic libraries in recent years, including its definition, core value, framework, content system and in- frastructure platform. It also introduces the practical cases of some academic libraries at home and abroad, with a focus especially on Peking University Library's practices of institution reorganization and job posi- tion adjustment. It provides theoretical and practical references for transition, innovation and knowledge service center construction in academic libraries.
